Come and be part of a human banner—using our bodies to form enormous words to send a message—”Water Is Life”! 💦Our message will be shared across North America on this National Day of Climate Action.
Kinder Morgan’s proposed TransMountain pipeline expansion would put the beautiful beaches, wildlife, rainforests and communities of Clayoquot Sound UNESCO Biosphere Reserve at risk of a major oil spill. Because the pipeline is being built for export, it would result in a seven-fold increase in oil tanker traffic. These ships would pass within 50 kilometres of Long Beach in Pacific Rim National Park.
