Celebrate Earth Day with this special screening of PLANETARY.

This event is a Pull Together fundraiser. Kinder Morgan’s pipeline and tanker project poses unacceptable risks to our oceans and waterways, our climate, economies, and communities. It must never be built. First Nations have vowed to stop it in the courts, so people, businesses, and community groups are raising funds to support them.

Clayoquot Action is organizing a Pull Together Earth Day Weekend, with participating businesses donating funds to support First Nations’ legal challenges. Many paddles, one canoe!

Film description: We are in the midst of a global crisis of perspective. We have forgotten the undeniable truth that every living thing is connected. PLANETARY is a provocative and breathtaking wakeup call—a cross continental, cinematic journey, that explores our cosmic origins and our future as a species. It is a poetic and humbling reminder that now is the time to shift our perspective. PLANETARY asks us to rethink who we really are, to reconsider our relationship with ourselves, each other and the world around us—to remember that we are PLANETARY.

Tickets: Advance tickets are $8, available at Common Loaf Bake Shop, (on sale April 1). Or $10 at the door.
