Prime Minister Justin Trudeau approved the Kinder Morgan pipeline in 2016, despite opposition from First Nations, local Mayors, and a majority of British Columbians. Last fall KM began construction on their TransMountain expansion, before the courts have decided on a consolidated 15 legal challenges from First Nations and environment groups. People are out on the front lines daily, and arrests have begun.
